16 March 2016

Etere provide free IP upgrade using NDI NewTek Network Device Interface (NDI®), an open standard for IP workflows over Ethernet networks.

Etere announced that it is now NDI compatible and the connectivity will be available free for all customers. Taking the next step in IP connectivity, Etere aims to empower users with the best tools to allow multiple video systems to identify and communicate with one another over IP.

With video over IP compatibility, customers now have the option to tap into the expansive benefits of incorporating IP technologies into their workflow including multiple stream speeds, embedded sync data, multicasting support and packet sequence numbers for identification of missing packets during the streaming process.

Etere integrates NDI technologies seamlessly with its supported ETX product, to provide seamless file switching, reverse and variable speed playback, low latency capture from professional video sources and multi-format CPU-based vision mixer for streams and files. With NDI, every Etere station can capture or play a video over IP
